Handcrafted With Care
It was during the early 1990s that we discovered a candy recipe book that sparked our adventure into the world of candy making.
Our first creations, caramel and toasted pecan confections called “Teddies” (also known as Turtles), quickly captured hearts as the ideal gift for any occasion.
Today, in response to the growing demand for our delicious chocolates, we have established an in-home, licensed commercial kitchen devoted entirely to crafting our artisanal chocolates.

The Story Behind Our “Teddies” (A.K.A. Turtles)
Have you ever wondered about the origin of our signature “Teddies” confections? The inspiration for their name is rooted in our family's fondness for our dogs, especially our cherished Airedale Terrier named Teddy.
During our sons' childhood, Teddy was a treasured companion whose classic chocolate-brown and caramel-colored coat perfectly mirrored the rich, creamy caramel and toasted pecans found in our signature treats.
When we set out to create a special confection—caramel and toasted pecans hand-dipped in premium milk or dark chocolate—it only felt natural to name it in honor of Teddy.
Although he is no longer with us, our affection for him continues to live on through the name of one of our earliest and most beloved chocolates. Each batch of “Teddies” is a tribute to his memory and the joy he brought to our family.
